tora was born out of a desire to achieve two things; design clothes that help people express themselves and address the throw away fashion model head on. Two things we believe are intrinsically linked.
We don’t want stock, sales or seasons. We only want to produce 4x small capsule collections a year which are available for a limited time. We think this will not only address the chronic overproduction in the garment industry but also make each purchase more considered, unique and personal.
tora has communal expression at it’s core. For us, the brand is about so much more than the final designs. We’ve worked with the most creative, kind and inspiring people to get us to this point and we see each capsule as a representation of that communal spirit and effort.
